Passive 2:
2. Past simple:
Active Form: invited/ woke up/ stole
Example 1: They didn’t invite me to go to the party, so I didn’t go.
Example 2: A loud noise woke us up during the night.
Example 3: How much money did they steal in the robbery?
Passive Form: was/ were + invited/ woken up/ stolen
Example 1: I wasn’t invited to the party, so I didn’t go.
Example 2: We were woken up by a loud noise during the night.
Example 3: How much money was stolen in the robbery?
همان طورکه مشاهده میکنید نحوه مجهول کردن جملات گذشته ساده نیز عینا همانند حال شاده است با این تفاوت که به جای am/ is/ are از was/ were استفاده میکنیم.
از آنجایی که تمامی زمان های ذیل نیز به همین ترتیب مجهول می شوند، بنده فقط به ذکر چند مثال از هر کدام بسنده میکنم:
3. Present Perfect:
Active Form: have + cancelled/ bitten/ invited
Example 1: Have they cancelled the concert?
Example 2: A dog has bitten him.
Example 3: They haven’t invited me to the party.
Passive Form: have + been + cancelled/ bitten/ invited
Example 1: Has the concert been cancelled?
Example 2: He has been bitten by a dog.
Example 3: I haven’t been invited to the party.
4. Past Perfect:
Active Form: had + cooked/ used
Example 1: The vegetables didn’t taste very good. She had cooked them too long.
Example 2: The car was three years old but they hadn’t used it very much.
Example 3: Had you left the door open?
Passive Form: had + been + cooked/ used/
Example 1: The vegetables didn’t taste very good. They had been cooked too long.
Example 2: The car was three years old but hadn’t been used vey much.
Example 3: Had the door been left open by you?
5. Future Simple:
Active Form: will + give/ send/ make
Example 1: I’m sure He’ll give me a good gift.
Example 2: Will sb send these letters?
Example 3: They won’t make us leave.
Passive Form: will be + given/ sent/ made
Example 1: I’m sure I’ll be given a good gift.
Example 2: Will these letters be sent?
Example 3: We won’t be made to leave.
