برای صحبت کردن در مورد برنامه های آینده  از چند ساختار می توان استفاده کرد که البته هرکدام کاربرد مشخصی دارند.

1.       Present Simple:

زمانی که می خواهیم در مورد برنامه های زمان بندی شده مشخص (همانند برنامه اتوبوس های داخل شهری، برنامه ساعات پخش فیلم ها در سینما و ...) صحبت کنیم، می توانیم از زمان حال ساده استفاده کنیم.

-          My train leaves at 11:30, so I need to be at the station by 11 :15. 

-          What time does the film begin this evening?

اگر برنامه ریزی شخصی همانند برنامه های فوق مشخص شده باشد و به آن عمل شود، می توان از زمان حال ساده برای بیان آنها استفاده کرد:

-          I start my new job on Monday.

-          What time do you finish work tomorrow?
